Snapper turtle soup?!

Hello my loving turtles,

Okay, so, I officially had a blonde moment. (Not saying blondes aren't smart of course. Figure of speech, people!)

I was sitting at a diner today and I go, "What's in snapper soup?" To my surprise, SNAPPER TURTLES. Yes, I know you are all aware of that, but I, Laura Ann, had not the slightest idea. I got laughed at for about 20 minutes. HA HA HA. Of course I didn't eat the soup being the vegetarian I am. Besides, turtle soup? eeek.

I am officially random. I decided to go to Chicago next week out of nowhere. You may actually see me showing up at some open mics for fun. I have never been there and am dying to check it out. If you're from Chicago, don't be shy in telling me about some hot spots there.

This brings me to my question of the day...

**What is the most random adventure that you have ever gone on? --This is a very open question so feel free to send me any type of answers! Can't wait to hear them! You're all the best :) Email me your answers to

In other news, I am in the works of a bigger tour my sweets. If you would like to CONTRIBUTE this this broke and starving musician so I can show up at your favorite venue, stop by and purchase my CD. Oh, expect a big thank you letter from yours truly. teehee. There are also the DVD's that I am selling with acoustic, live and random footage on them. Shoot me an email about it.

Ohh Ohh Ohh I just booked an 18 and over show (for those of you who couldn't make my last few shows) right in Philadelphia at the World Cafe Live on Wednesday, July 19th at 8:30pm sharp. World Cafe live is on 3025 Walnut st. It's a soul night! woo!

Also, an ALL AGES SHOW On Saturday, August 5th at MilkBoy Coffee located in Ardmore, PA (not far from Philly) 2 Lancaster Ave. 8:30 sharp as well.

I am writing out these shows because you all tell me to put them into my blog! I don't want to be a bugger with just shows but I really like meeting you all and want you to know what's going on!

ALSO FOR YOU NYC LOVES, **My next show is on Saturday, July 8th at the Baggot Inn in Greenwich Village. 21 and over. GREAT PLACE. Full band show!

Well, I guess I will continue listening to this CD of me when I was 11 years old singing love songs. HYSTERICAL. Shoot me some emails! I'lelf. Can't wait to hear from you!!

Keep it funky baby,

Laura :)
